We are HostYourAI, a young startup from Groningen. We're building the European alternative to the big American AI clouds, and Loes, our own Dutch AI assistant. Small team, big ambition, lots of fun.

A small team, short lines and plenty of laughter. Meanwhile we are building serious AI infrastructure for all of Europe, and Loes.

Work from anywhere

We work remotely, from the Netherlands or elsewhere in Europe. Our HQ is in Groningen; that's where we regularly meet for work, drinks and good coffee.

Two team weeks a year

Twice a year the whole team gets on a plane: a week somewhere in Europe building together, eating well and having fun.

Platform AI Engineer

Remote (EU), HQ in Groningen Full-time

You'll be one of HostYourAI's first engineers. What you build today runs at customers across Europe tomorrow.

What you'll do
  • Keep building our hosting platform: customers pick a model, we automatically arrange a GPU with one of our European providers and put the model live.
  • Guard reliability: monitoring, automatic recovery when a GPU fails, keeping costs under control.
  • Help build our own Dutch models (Loes): training, testing and shipping them.
  • Help decide what we build. In a small team everyone has direct influence.
What we ask
  • Experience with software in production: servers, deployments, things breaking at 3 a.m. (we try to prevent that, but you know how it goes).
  • Experience with, or a strong interest in, running AI models (think vLLM, CUDA, GPUs). You don't need to know everything, learning fast is what counts.
  • Comfortable doing backend work. We use PHP (Laravel) and Python; experience with either is enough.
  • Fluent English. Dutch is a plus, not a requirement; you can work from anywhere in Europe.
  • Independent. There's no manager spelling out your work for you.

AI Model Quality Engineer

Remote (EU), HQ in Groningen Full-time

We host a broad range of open models and are building our own Dutch model, Loes. You'll be the one who guards their quality and makes it measurable.

What you'll do
  • Make Loes better: build datasets, run finetunes and measure whether a new version really beats the previous one.
  • Build an eval harness that holds every model we host to the same standard: quality, Dutch, grounding, tool calling.
  • Guard the quality of our model catalog, so a customer knows exactly what they are choosing.
  • Publish model cards and benchmarks, including the transparency information the AI Act requires per model.
  • Turn customer feedback on Loes into training data, so the model gets better from real use.
What we ask
  • Experience training or finetuning language models (SFT, DPO, LoRA) and building and cleaning datasets.
  • You measure instead of trusting your gut. Benchmarks, evals, and statistics where needed.
  • Python, and the usual tooling around it (Hugging Face, PyTorch). You don't need to know everything, learning fast is what counts.
  • Dutch is a genuine plus here: Loes is a Dutch model, and you judge quality most sharply in your own language.
  • Independent. There's no manager spelling out your work for you.

Inference Engineer

Remote (EU), HQ in Groningen Full-time

We run open models on GPUs across Europe, and that is growing fast. You make sure they stay fast, reliable and affordable.

What you'll do
  • Get models running, and keep them running, on our GPUs: vLLM now, SGLang next.
  • Figure out what fits where and at what price: VRAM estimates, quantization, and the right card for the right model.
  • Extend our verification pipeline, so we know that every model we offer does what it promises.
  • Measure and improve throughput and latency: batching, warm pools, scale-to-zero and cold starts.
  • Keep the cost per token sharp; that is where we make the difference.
What we ask
  • Experience running models on GPUs: vLLM, SGLang, TensorRT-LLM or similar.
  • You're at home in CUDA land: memory, quantization, and what exactly goes wrong when a model almost fits.
  • Linux, containers, and measuring in production instead of guessing.
  • Python. Our application runs on PHP (Laravel), but you won't have to live there.
  • Fluent English. Dutch is a plus, not a requirement; you can work from anywhere in Europe.

Frontend Engineer

Remote (EU), HQ in Groningen Full-time

Everything a customer sees of us is yours. The environment where people pick a model, try it out and put it live, and soon also our own chat and the version of our platform that other hosts will run themselves.

What you'll do
  • Build and care for our customer environment: from picking a model to the playground where you try it right away.
  • Lead the move to Vue 3 and rebuild our components sharply in it.
  • Help build the white-label version of our platform, which other hosts will soon run under their own brand.
  • Make sure it looks good and works well: accessible, fast, and on every screen.
  • Think along about the product. In a small team you help decide what gets built.
What we ask
  • Solid experience with modern frontend work: JavaScript, components, state and build tooling. We use Vue; if you come from React or Svelte, that is fine.
  • An eye for design. You don't need to be a designer, but you see the difference between almost right and right.
  • You build with the user in mind: accessibility, load time, and what someone sees when something goes wrong.
  • Fluent English. Dutch is a plus, not a requirement; you can work from anywhere in Europe.
  • Independent. There's no manager spelling out your work for you.

Sales & Accounts (mid-level)

Remote (EU), HQ in Groningen Full-time

You'll be the first commercial colleague, alongside the founder, talking to customers across Europe every day. From 2 August 2026 the new European AI rules apply, and more and more companies are looking for exactly what we offer.

What you'll do
  • You run our inbound sales and customer support. Dozens of people sign up through our site every week; you pick them up, understand what they need and get them on their way.
  • You work online across every channel: email, chat, LinkedIn, video. And you pick up the phone or drop by in person when that makes the difference.
  • Grow existing customers: stay in touch, think along, spot room to expand.
  • Approach software agencies in the Netherlands and beyond that build AI for their end clients. One agency brings several customers at once.
  • Close deals together with the founder: you do the groundwork and the first conversations, she closes. As you grow, you close them yourself.
What we ask
  • A few years of experience in IT or SaaS sales, or in a commercial role at a software company.
  • You can explain technical topics in plain language. You don't need to be an engineer, but you are genuinely curious about how it works.
  • Independent and hands-on. You help build the sales and support process instead of stepping into an existing one.
  • Fluent Dutch and fluent English.
